About GoatMate
A practical record book for people who keep goats.
GoatMate started from a simple observation: most goat keepers already record everything they need — in a notebook by the parlour door, a spreadsheet nobody updates, and a whiteboard that gets wiped by accident. The information exists. It is just not in one place, and it is never there when a decision has to be made.
GoatMate keeps those records together: milk, breeding, kidding, health, medication, feed, costs and daily tasks. It is built mobile-first because the recording happens standing next to an animal, not sitting at a desk.
Who it is for
Dairy goat keepers, small commercial goat farms, homesteaders, hobby farmers and breeders — typically families and small teams keeping between 2 and 100 goats, producing milk, cheese, yoghurt or breeding stock.
Where it is going
The data model is species-agnostic, so sheep, cows, chickens and rabbits can be added as further modules. Goats come first, and they come done properly.
